The classes listed below are the available triial classes from the Milton Keynes Tennis Club coaching programme. These are the clases that players interested in joining the course can try out. Each trial class is £9.25 per person, per trial. Please look at the classes below and select a class that best fits the age and standard of the player wishing to attend. 

Please Note: in order to book a trial class, you must first create an account and add all relevant players to your account first. Please ensure that the account holder is a parent or adult. 

 

Trial classes are the perfect opportunity for players and parents to get a taste for what our tennis classes feel like. The classes are fun, engaging and active, with each class having a different teaching topic being worked through. Each class is generally split up into various sections, starting with a warm up and co-ordination exerceises. The coach will then move onto working through the session's teaching point and then opening up into wider exercies that incorporate what's been worked on. The session's generally finish off with either a fun game or some competition. 

There's no requirement to bring a racket to a trial class (although bring one if you have) as we will have rackets players can borrow. We do ask that players wear suitable clothing for the class along with sports type shoes and a water bottle (some are indoors and others are outdoors). 

When booking your trial, you'll recieve an email confirmation with all the neccessary info about what to do after the class.

Trial booking rules: 
 

• Trial classes can only be booked for players who are not currently in our coaching programme and have not been a part of the tennis programme before. Trials are for new players only.
• You can only select 1 date per player. If you wish to book multiple players in the same booking, add the first player and then go abck and repeat the process.
• Please ensure that you are booking the correct class type for the player's age and experience. 
• Each player is only able to book 1 trial class before booking a termly course is required. 
• Once your trial has been booked, you'll receive an email with further information about the class. This will include next steps  to booking a termly course. 

Each of our classes are split into categories by age and colour. See below

AGES:

• Mini Tots - Ages 3-4
• Mini Red - Ages 5-8
• Mini Orange - Ages 8-9
• Mini Green - Ages 10
• Junior - Ages 11-17
• Adults for those ages 18+.

LEVELS:

• Club - Either new to tennis or still learning the basics. Not yet able to play matches.
• Development - Can understand and perform all the basics in tennis and is of a level to start playing matches.

We strongly recommend that players book a CLUB level class to begin with as this allows the coach to assess the player more effectively and can suggest a higher-level group if necessary.
 

For players who believe they are at the stage where they can play matches or have competed previously

If you believe that you are an intermediate or advanced player (can play matches), then please contact us to arrange a suitable trial class. We have many higher level classes which can be booked also.
